Liza Baker: Story of the Shift

What a treat it was to talk to Liza Baker for today’s episode. She is a hoot as well as whip smart. She offers up so many tidbits of wisdom and life experience tips throughout the interview that there are simply too many to list here. One thing to listen for though is her connects to language and how it effects our lives. Anything after but, and not but, for not to. At 22:25 there is an outstanding bit of wisdom and let us not miss that observing the journey, not just living it, is key to navigating through those shifts.

In the years BC (before children), she was the owner and executive chef of a catering and private chef company in Chicago, and she’s taught cooking and nutrition to all ages. Liza understands the value of nutrition—both the whole foods variety and the more holistic kind—and can show you how you can make the food and lifestyle choices that nourish you without adding more “shoulds” and hours to your already overwhelming schedule.
